Lynne Lomofsky

Lynne lomofsky has a MFA in Fine Art (painting) from The Michaelis School Of Fine Art UCT. She has taught art in numerous settings and was a guest lecturer in painting at Michaelis for a number of years. She has shown her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions and is included in the Iziko (SANG) collection.

"This particular set of work is from an ongoing series begun in 2013 and rendered from images sourced and selected from the internet of strangers, family and friends and others from my own archive of photographs.

I enjoy rendering these in paint (gouache on paper). I particularly enjoy the tactile pleasure  of paint and the purity of colour that gouache allows."
