Kim Black

Kim studied graphic design in the Eastern Cape, but heart has always been in painting.  She is particularly drawn to botanicals and floral subject matter and experiments frequently with these.  Colour is also a priority for her as it evokes feeling and passion in her work.  The media she works in is mainly oil and sometimes acylic underlays. She has worked and lived in Botswana and the UK and currently resides in Cape Town.

She has work in public and private collections around the world and in South Africa in private homes, guest lodges and the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town.
