Philip Barlow

Philip describes his work as a step towards abstraction. His paintings are primarily about his deep appreciation and love for the power and science of colour and light. His is a philosophy of harmony, where even in the grit and grime of a city there is immense beauty to be discovered. A beauty that lies between the imperceptible and the unknown.

Philip has held many solo exhibitions and currently works with Everard Read in South Africa and London. He has been a part of a number of group exhibitions locally and in North America, Holland and Greece. His most recent solo exhibition was with Everard Read London. His work is included in private and corporate collections, including Bowman Gilfillan and Nandos London.
