2021: Artist Alliance programme, mentored under Storm Janse Van Rensberg. A two-month mentorship creative business programme for 12 selected young creatives, hosted by V&A Waterfront and Between10and5.
2021: Co-host of Connecting Through Creativity.
In 2018, Pia Truscott and Lily Waterkeyn founded Connecting through Creativity, an independent art collective that aims to connect young artists and exhibit their art. To date, we have hosted four successful exhibitions, hosted from Newlands, Queenside Studios, The Pop Up Place and online.
2019: Self-publisher of The Tree Project
The Tree Project was a self-motivated book dedicated to the love of trees. It was an open-submission that called for poems, artworks and stories celebrating trees. The collaborative book was self-published and launched at Bibliophilia in Woodstock.
