A group exhibition of work that embraces women’s lived
experiences.
For this exhibition, as a celebration of Women’s month in August, artists are invited to explore aspects of women in
any of their multidimensional expressions: not as objects of desire as historically depicted through the male gaze,
but as the human beings they are – radiant, resilient, courageous, compassionate, insightful, vulnerable, complex,
changeable, wild and wilful; goddesses, politicians, mothers, liberation revolutionaries, movers and shakers, fun
lovers, and so much more…
The exhibition will open on Women’s Day, 9 August, in conjunction with Solo Studios 2024.
