Pioneering Art and Luxury Floor Ware

Fibre Designs, South Africa’s leading designer of handwoven floor
ware and RK Contemporary, a Riebeeck Kasteel based art gallery, are
thrilled to announce a collaboration which will see local artists
exhibiting at the Fibre Designs studio in De Waterkant, Cape Town.
This
partnership brings together Fibre Designs' expertise in crafting
luxurious, handwoven rugs and RK Contemporary's commitment to
curating contemporary South African art.

Designs and RK Contemporary share a passion for pushing boundaries
and reimagining traditional concepts," says Piere Antoine at
Fibre Designs. "This collaboration represents a convergence of
our dedication to quality craftsmanship and RK Contemporary's
commitment to promoting established and emerging local talent."
The
collaboration will see a collection that marries Fibre Designs'
signature textures with the bold, contemporary artworks curated by RK
Contemporary. The result is a blend of form and function,
transforming living spaces into immersive environments that reflect
both style and substance.

Contemporary will curate regular exhibitions at the Fibre Designs
Studio in De Waterkant featuring contemporary art across a variety of
disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking
and ceramics.
