Site-Specific is a group exhibition that explores landscapes and the deep connections we form with place. We invite artists to participate whose work is rooted in — or shaped by — particular environments, whether natural or built, rural or urban, real or imagined. This exhibition is interested in how a specific site or setting can shape an artwork. That might be a landscape infused with personal memory, a location marked by historical, social, or environmental significance, or a place that inspires a deeper exploration of identity, land, and belonging. We invite artists to consider how their work responds to the places they know, observe, or remember — and how those places leave their mark on the creative process. How does place shape perspective? How can an artwork carry the spirit, history, or tension of a site? Site-Specific is about the stories embedded in land — and the ways artists translate those stories into form.
