Solo Studios 2023 Preview

Riebeek Kasteel has become somewhat of a haven for artists, earning
it the nickname “Arts Town”. Since 2016 the Riebeek Valley has
hosted Solo Studios, highlight of the Arts calendar. Its community is
gearing up for an exciting 2023, as it looks to build on the enormous
success of 2022’s record sales. This year’s event will be taking
place over the weekend of the 18th – 20th of August. It will
feature 18 Riebeek Valley resident artists who have been selected to
open their personal spaces to a limited number of art lovers. This
intimate experience allows visitors to get an inside look at the
creative spaces that inspire the works of these talented individuals.
Solo Studios 2023 will once again be featuring collaborations,
partnering resident and non-resident artists.
RK Contemporary is a founding member of Solo Studios and one of four permanent public Galleries participating at this year’s event. We are excited to announce that RK Contemporary will be hosting a preview of all the artists, galleries and collaborating artists from the 5th to the 26th of March.
