Between April 25th and 28th, 2024, concurrent with Berlin Gallery Weekend, Paper Positions Berlin will host a showcase featuring 60 international galleries from 11 countries. This exhibition will spotlight contemporary and modern art, particularly focusing on drawing and the material of paper.
In its eighth iteration, paper positions berlin remains dedicated to highlighting the versatility of paper as an artistic medium. Set within the prestigious Deutsche Telekom Hauptstadtrepraesentanz, situated centrally at Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin-Mitte, the event invites galleries to present their unique perspectives on paper-based artistry, exploring its distinctive characteristics, fragility, and boundless potential. Departing from traditional booth setups, the fair adopts a salon-like architectural approach, fostering an immersive experience for attendees. With a curated selection of exhibitors, the event takes on the ambiance of a large themed group exhibition, inviting visitors to engage directly with the artworks within the spacious, open layout of the venue.
